Job purpose:

SAP Developer: Design, develop, test and implement complex, quality solutions in the SAP development space.


A glimpse of your daily mission:

  • Follow Haworth’s standard development processes

  • Review/evaluate functional requirements

  • Discuss/validate requirements with functional partners

  • Design and document technical solution approach required to satisfy functional requirements

  • Actively participate in technical design reviews

  • Develop (code) solutions

  • Unit test developed solutions

  • Conduct code reviews to ensure solution quality

  • Updating of existing APIs, when required

Your requirements:

Work Experience:

  • 7+ years related design, development, and support experience Skills and Knowledge

    Technical Skills:

    Required:

  • Basic ABAP (RICEF programming + understanding Function Groups + screen programming)

  • Object Oriented ABAP

  • Adobe forms working knowledge

  • Enhancement frameworks (BADI, enhancement options, user exits, etc)

  • Understanding and working knowledge of the new ABAP syntax (in memory, etc)

  • Hana working knowledge (including Gateway services)

  • CDS and Odata (V4) deep understanding (working knowledge is nearly a must; AMDP is a nice addon)

  • Performance tuning / debugging skills / problem solving methods / analytical skills

    Nice to have:

  • S4 development experience (including S4 Personas, extensibility)

  • Fiori/UI5

  • RAP model

  • JavaScript / JQuery a plus

  • IDoc (including PI)

  • SAP Cloud Platform

  • ABAP unit testing

  • Technical Areas: APO, Variant config, pricing, SD, MM ,PP ,PM, WM, LOG, CPI, EWM

  • Web Dynpro

  • Required Tools:

  • ABAP Workbench

  • Eclipse

  • Postman
