Job Purpose


Be an agent of change, collaborating with the local management team to foster a culture of proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement, aiming for an outstanding customer experience, sustainable operations, and safe work practices.

Create and execute programs focused on Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety to uphold compliance with local regulations, targets, and the specific requirements outlined by Haworth at both the European and International levels.

 

A glimpse of your daily mission

 

  • Maintain the management system for the facility within their purview, adhering to ISO9001, ISO14001, and the specific requirements of the Haworth Management System (HMS).

  • Coordinate internal quality checks for both products and processes, oversee internal environmental protocols such as waste separation and air emissions, and support implementation of Health and Safety measures.

  • Supervise adherence to established programs and objectives, reporting outcomes and deviations to management.

  • Examine and address customer complaints and internal incidents, ensuring the enhancement of product quality (both in production and acquired components) and refining process efficiency.

  • Compile management reviews, organize internal assessments for quality and environmental compliance, and assist in external ISO audits.

 

Your Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in engineering, quality, environmental management.

  • Minimum 2-year experience in quality engineering and compliance in an industrial environment.

  • Possessing experience in supervisory roles and people management is beneficial.

  • Analytical mindset structured and organized working approach, communication skills.

  • Fluent in Portuguese and good verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
