Job Purpose


As a Product Engineer - Engineering Lifecycle Management you will oversee the lifecycle of our product portfolio, drive value engineering and cost analysis initiatives and develop innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. This role involves standardizing parts, continuous quality improvement and supporting end-of-life product processes.


A glimpse of your daily mission


  • Manage and update the lifecycle of existing products.

  • Adapt the portfolio to market changes and support the implementation of new products in the European manufacturing system.

  • Contribute to value engineering (PPV/VAVE) initiatives and sourcing activities.

  • Design and standardize packaging concepts to enhance economic efficiency.

  • Improve product quality and assist local teams in analyzing and resolving market complaints.

  • Create and update technical documentation (3D models, DFMEA, risk assessments).


Your Qualifications


  • Training in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the commercial furniture industry.

  • Proficiency in CAD 3D tools (PTC Creo preferred), PLM systems (Bluestar PLM), and ERP platforms.

  • Knowledge of packaging design and wood/metal processing is a plus.

  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

  • Independent work style with a strong sense of responsibility.

  • Teamwork, cultural openness, and effective communication skills.
