🎯 Job Purpose

As a Product Engineer, you will support the design, development, and improvement of innovative products, processes, and tooling. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.

This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career engineers looking to apply engineering principles in real-world product development.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and developing new products and enhancing existing ones using engineering principles.

  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering to analyze and improve processes for cost and efficiency.

  • Conduct basic cost analyses and material evaluations using CAD tools and engineering software.

  • Support “make vs buy” feasibility studies and prepare documentation for decision-making.

  • Create and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).

  • Support GD&T, tolerance analysis, and quality-related documentation.

  • Coordinate with suppliers during tooling and equipment development; occasional travel may be required.

  • Work with Designers/Detailers to ensure proper form, fit, and function of product designs.

  • Assist in developing prototypes, preparing test plans, and analyzing test results.

  • Participate in competitive product benchmarking to evaluate materials, processes, and performance.

  • Prepare basic justification documents such as RFEs (Request for Expenditure).

  • Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure product and process compliance.

📚 Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing / Product / Industrial or related).

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in design or product engineering.

  • Basic proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo)

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

  • Good verbal and written communication

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, development-focused team environment

Preferred

  • Exposure to design projects, internships, or academic prototypes

  • Familiarity with tolerance analysis, GD&T, and engineering documentation

✈️ Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel to suppliers or tooling vendors as needed
