Commercial Associate – Chennai Shared Services Center (SSC)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Commercial Associate to join our Chennai Shared Services Center (SSC). This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless international logistics operations and commercial processes for our projects. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification.

  • Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in:

    • Logistics operations

    • Freight forwarding

    • Customs House Agent (CHA) handling

  • Preferred experience in furniture industry, retail, or project-based logistics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and stakeholders for smooth logistics operations.

  • Maintain and update the Daily Shipment Report (DSR).

  • Obtain quotations from service partners and manage the approval process.

  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs)to approved partners and ensure timely documentation for international shipments.

  • Prepare and submit Commercial & Tax Invoices and manage Vendor Reconciliation.

  • Ensure timely accounting of invoices for project costs and assist in audit & VAT reconciliation.

  • Work on ERP systems and maintain proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

  • Adapt to working on UAE timings when required.
