Job Purpose


Responsible for general ledger operations and preparation of financial and management reporting to provide timely and relevant management information to steer business decisions and help improve the overall business performance.


A glimpse of your daily mission


  • Prepare and publish the month-end financial reports package (per finance leader requirement), including reconciliation of accounts in Cadence software application that are in accordance with Haworth accounting policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for the monthly calculations of the inter-company charge-in and charge-out and ensure these are all aligned with the budget.

  • Prepare journal entries in SAP and perform general ledger operations including Forex revaluation and Fixed Asset Register.

  • Collaborating with finance leader to gather, analyse, and interpret relevant financial cost data to ensure that all transactions are posted in correct accounts and cost centres.

  • Check whether approvals have been secured for RFE assets, monitor whether the costs to purchase the asset are within the approved spending budget, and coordinate with finance leader for the annual fixed asset count.



Your Qualifications


  • Degree in Accountancy/Finance or other equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, and at least 1-2 years for Analyst role.

  • Preferably with audit experience in the Big 4 Accounting firms and manufacturing Industry.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Familiar in the use of SAP accounting system, Cadency reconciliation software and Microsoft Office (i.e., Dynamics, Excel, etc.).

  • Multi-tasking skills; strategic and analytical thinking and financial and business planning skills.
