Job Purpose

The D365 Senior Business Analyst – Financeis responsible for leading the end‑to‑end finance and accounting solution design for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations in India. This role ensures that business needs are translated into compliant, scalable, and high‑performing D365 Finance solutions aligned with Haworth’s strategic objectives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Customer Excellence

  • Deliver exceptional customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with business stakeholders and end‑users.

Business Analysis & Solution Design

  • Collaborate with business process owners to understand workflows, pain points, and future-state requirements.

  • Conduct gap analysis and create detailed functional specifications.

  • Apply global best practices to design optimized and compliant D365 Finance solutions.

Implementation & Enablement

  • Lead conference room pilots (CRPs), troubleshoot issues, and prepare teams for go‑live success.

  • Conduct training for various user groups to ensure strong adoption and system proficiency.

  • Support data migration, validation, and end-to-end testing cycles.

Post Go‑Live Support & Optimization

  • Provide stabilization support post go-live.

  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process optimization within D365.

Business Expertise & Knowledge Required

  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end finance operations and ERP process flows.

  • Ability to translate business needs into efficient and compliant D365 Finance solutions.

  • Expertise in aligning system design with business goals and statutory requirements.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience focusing on the Finance module in D365 F&O, AX 2012, or AX 2009.

  • 2+ full-cycle D365 Finance implementations, including at least one in a manufacturing organization.

  • Strong functional knowledge of:

    • General Ledger

    • Accounts Payable

    • Accounts Receivable

    • Fixed Assets

    • Cash & Bank

    • Cost Accounting

    • Budgeting

    • Reporting

  • Proven expertise in India Localization:

    • GST

    • Withholding Tax (TDS/TCS)

    • E‑Invoicing

    • Other statutory compliance

  • Experience working with MNC clients.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with global cross-functional teams.

  • Exposure to finance transformation or process re‑engineering initiatives.

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.

  • During critical phases such as go‑live, travel may exceed 75%, sometimes with short notice.
