Job purpose:

Support sales and project teams on design and specification works and collaborate as trusted partner and provider in solutions on products and services to fulfil and satisfy customers’ desired workspaces strategy to enhance the value propositions that Haworth can contribute to the client’s organization and future workspaces. The ultimate objective is to perform all these tasks within requested timelines and accuracy in pricing and cost estimation for maximum yield in financial results and operational performances.


A glimpse of your daily mission:

  • Work with the Global Account Managers to understand the tender requirements/expectations to prepare tender responses.

  • Prepare design and specification works on typical product configuration and, if required, renders, space planning and floor plan layout.

  • Support margin checks with the team members and the Global Account Managers to fulfil the technical specifications and requirements of customer’s and scope of works within the tender.

  • Communicate and collaborate with Haworth factories and 3rd party suppliers of non-standard products to get pricings and lead time to quote to customer’s specifications.

  • Work closely with all relevant other departments and maintain close relationships, such as, but not limited to 3dr party purchasing, specials, finance, visualisation, ideation, sustainability, etc.

  • Maintain all drawings and files in the archive library.

  • Ensure all drawings and quotations to customers are submitted on time

  • Develop project case studies that can be shared with Customers by Global Account Managers through the PlayBook

  • Consolidate and verify all relevant documents for relevancy, accuracy and completeness and compile for response to tender and work with Sales for submission before the deadline.

  • Co-ordinating and liaise with other departments on deliverables, timelines and act as the intermediary to provide clarification on the scope of the tender.

  • Create presentation/mood boards for mock-up exercise

  • Create presentation materials in Microsoft PowerPoint, Ceros, InDesign, etc. for sales presentation.

  • Support E-bids with global account managers.


Your requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with good computer software knowledge (Excel, Words, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, PCON, Adobe suite & Project Matrix)

  • Willing to work overtime, dedicated, meticulous with great attention to details

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as a team player
