✨ About the Role

As a Specialist, Bid & Design – Global , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of workspaces for some of the world’s most influential organizations. Acting as a trusted partner to our Global Account Managers and project teams, you’ll combine creativity, technical expertise, and commercial acumen to deliver compelling design solutions, accurate specifications, and winning tender responses.

Your mission is to transform client strategies into innovative workspace solutions—ensuring precision in pricing, timeliness in delivery, and excellence in execution that maximizes both customer satisfaction and business performance.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Bidding & Tender Excellence

Partner with Global Account Managers to understand tender requirements and prepare high-quality responses.

Develop design and specification works, including product configurations, renders, space planning, and floor layouts.

Conduct margin checks and ensure technical specifications align with customer requirements.

Collaborate with Haworth factories and third-party suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and lead times.

Consolidate, verify, and compile tender documents for timely submission.

Support e-bids and digital tender processes.

Design & Collaboration

Create impactful presentation materials (PowerPoint, InDesign, Ceros, etc.) and mood boards for client mock-ups.

Work closely with cross-functional teams (purchasing, finance, visualization, sustainability, ideation, etc.) to deliver integrated solutions.

Maintain an organized archive of drawings, specifications, and project files.

Develop project case studies to showcase success stories in the Global Accounts PlayBook.

Project & Client Support

Ensure all drawings, quotations, and submissions are accurate and delivered on time.

Act as a liaison between departments to clarify scope, timelines, and deliverables.

Contribute to sales presentations that inspire clients and strengthen Haworth’s value proposition.

🛠 Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience: Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in design, specification, or bid support.

Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of software tools including AutoCAD, PCON, Adobe Suite, Project Matrix, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Work Ethic: Dedicated, detail-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile to meet deadlines.

Collaboration: Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.

Creativity & Precision: Strong eye for design with meticulous attention to detail.
