Job Purpose

Support sales and project teams on design and specification works and collaborate as trusted partner and provider in solutions on products and services to fulfil and satisfy customers’ desired workspaces strategy to enhance the value propositions that Haworth can contribute to the client’s organisation and future workspaces. The ultimate objective is to perform all these tasks within requested timelines and accuracy in pricing and cost estimation for maximum yield in financial results and operational performances.

 


A glimpse of your daily mission



Bidding & Tender

  1. Work with Sales Team to understand the tender requirements/expectations to prepare tender responses

  2. Prepare design and specification works on typical product configuration and space planning and floor plan layout

  3. Once drawings are finalized, prepare proposal with bill of quantity, images of products, comprehensive product specifications with solutions on products and services, with approved margins to fulfil the technical specifications and requirements of customer’s and scope of works within the tender

  4. Communicate and collaborate with Haworth factories and 3rd party suppliers with CAD drawings of non-standard products to get pricings and lead time to quote to customer’s specifications

  5. Work closely with Shared Service Centre Visualisation teams on visualisation requests to substantiate the value propositions of the proposals created for customers

  6. Prepare data and pricing for 3rd party product data creation for order files and order entry

  7. Create Operational Maintenance Manual/ Product presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint format

  8. Maintain all drawings and files in the archive library

  9. Ensure all drawings and quotations to customers are submitted on time

Bidding & Tender (at business units)

  1. Consolidate and verify all relevant documents for relevancy, accuracy and completeness and compile for response to tender and work with Sales for submission before the deadline

  2. Support Bid & Design Manager in co-ordinating and liaising with Shared Service Centre on deliverables, timelines and act as the intermediary to provide clarification on the scope of the tender

  3. Create presentation/mood boards for mockup exercise

  4. Create presentation materials in Microsoft PowerPoint format for sales presentation

Life Cycle Services

  1. Work with Project/Life Cycle Service Manager on churn/reconfiguration/service works on the request of the customers to create pricing and proposals

  2. Prepare margin calculations for service works to log in the service orders by Shared Service Centre Order Services Team

  3. Prepare OBK files to order spare parts for reconfiguration services and warranty replacement services for order entry

Order placement

  1. Cross checking all order documents submitted by Sales are completed with proper approval by the management and customers before dispatching to Shared Service Centre Order Services for order entry

  2. Prepare all OBK files and Margin Calculations for the project for order entry, and ensuring the quality in pricing, discounts and specifications are correct

  3. Validate any clarification asked for by the Shared Service Centre Order Services and/or Sales

 



Your Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Architecture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or related fields.

  • Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in preparing quotations, with proficiency in software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, PCON, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, and Project Symbols.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with English proficiency preferred.

  • Dedicated and meticulous, with great attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
