Job Purpose

The Senior Interior Designer plays a critical role in supporting Design & Project in all spatial programs including virtual, Haworth showrooms and Channel Partners and Dealers in Asia Pacific & Europe to develop and commercialize their showroom and space concepts that align with Haworth branding and value propositions. This includes partnering with Dealer Managers and Channel Partners to create a showcase for products and promote space optimization to instil confidence in the customers of strategic local representation in the market. 


A glimpse of your daily mission

  • Lead interior design projects from initial brief through to completed installation, collaborating with the broader marketing and design team across the project calendar.

  • Develop space concepts that align with Haworth branding and product propositions, creating showroom environments that showcase our portfolio with impact and coherence.

  • Prepare detailed design concepts and associated budgets for showroom and client projects, ensuring financial targets are established and tracked from the outset.

  • Apply Haworth’s Organic Workplace strategy to develop forward-thinking workspace ideas for clients and partners at the planning stage of a project.

  • Produce high-quality show drawings, technical specifications, and tender documentation packages that enable accurate contractor pricing and confident project execution.

  • Manage supplier relationships for materials, furniture, lighting, and FF&E — sourcing, negotiating, and procuring to deliver quality outcomes within budget.

  • Project manage installations and attend site visits to ensure design intent is executed accurately, with timelines met and design quality maintained throughout.

  • Collaborate with the 3D visualisation team to develop compelling renderings and presentations that communicate design concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain expertise in key design tools to deliver work efficiently and to a high standard: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Pcon Planner, and relevant project management platforms.

  • Develop and manage project budgets from early-stage estimates through to final account, ensuring financial performance targets are met:

    - Build detailed cost schedules and FF&E budgets for client and internal approval

    - Track expenditure against budget, flagging variances proactively

    - Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve best value without compromising quality

    - Collaborate with finance and project management to ensure cost targets are maintained

    - Provide regular budget reporting and financial summaries to project stakeholders

    - Conduct post-project reviews to capture learnings and improve future budget accuracy

Your Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a comparable role.

  • Proven experience in managing interior design projects end-to-end, including the preparation of tender documentation and show drawings.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and control project budgets.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite; Pcon Planner experience is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and a high degree of professionalism, commercial acumen, and design integrity.


Travel Requirement

Moderate travel required within the EMEA and Asia Pacific region for site visits, showroom reviews, and partner engagements (approximately 10–20% of the time). This role can be based out of either APAC or EMEA locations.
