The Specialist – Bid & Design supports Sales and Project teams by managing the complete bidding and tendering process from requirement understanding to final submission. The role ensures that all tender responses are accurate, compliant, visually compelling, and delivered within timelines while supporting strong customer value propositions and business performance.
Collaborate closely with Sales and Global or Key Account Managers to understand tender scope, technical requirements, customer needs, and expectations.
Prepare complete and compliant tender submissions, including commercial details, technical specifications, and basic design inputs.
Coordinate with internal teams to collect pricing information, product configurations, drawings, specifications, and lead-time confirmations.
Support development of basic layouts, space planning, product configurations, and floor plans for tender submissions.
Assist with creation of visual materials such as renders, mood boards, mock-ups, and proposal presentations to strengthen bids.
Work with factories, original equipment manufacturers, and third-party suppliers to obtain pricing, cost estimates, and delivery timelines.
Support pricing validation and margin checks in collaboration with Sales and Finance teams.
Act as a central coordination point for tender clarifications, timelines, and deliverables across Purchasing, Finance, Sustainability, Visualization, and Special Products teams.
Consolidate, review, and submit tender documentation ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
Maintain and archive drawings, layouts, specifications, and tender-related documentation for future reference.
Support electronic bidding processes and assist in preparation of case studies and bid reference material for sales enablement.
Minimum two years of experience in bidding, tendering, sales support, or project coordination roles.
Exposure to interiors, construction, furniture, fit-out, or other design-led commercial industries is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, configuration tools, and Adobe applications.
Strong documentation, presentation, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.
Strong time management and prioritization skills, with flexibility to support peak tender periods.
Open to travel as and when required.
