Job Purpose:
Monitor orders to ensure shipments are delivered as planned to job site and without delay.
A glimpse of your daily mission:
Track and follow up with factories on status of orders and inform the relevant parties when there are changes to the schedule (i.e. shipping date). Ensure goods are ready in time and are picked up
Work with forwarders/shipping lines to make sure shipments are onboard and shipped, and monitor shipping status.
Booking shipments – Ascertain if they are FCL or LCL based on cargo volume . Track import shipments – Air & Sea
Ensure all necessary shipping documents like RFQ and others for custom clearance are received from factories and provided to the appointed forwarder 1 or 2 days before the arrival.
Coordinate with warehouse and forwarder to make sure all cargoes are received on time and in order.
Send release orders to warehouse and transporter for delivery.
Highlight to Project or Sales teams orders that have been stored for more than 2 weeks in the warehouse.
Manage and control mockup stock and site returns and ensure optimal inventory levels for mockups and service.
Support and manage export order processes, and prepare export documents to fulfill custom regulations.
Carry out 3-way matching of all vendors’ billings for accuracy and reasonableness, and verify project name and sales order number references for Finance to charge against respective project costing or administrative expenses.
Finalize Service Agreements with forwarders
Coordinate with CHA before the goods arrive India
Coordinate with clients for documents to clear the goods – Various models of clearance – Bond to Bond – SEZ /STPI, Duty paid, High sea sale
Coordinate with Commercial team for way bills and GST for delivery
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Diploma in Logistics Management or related field
Minimum 3 years of working experience in supply chain management
